Suzuki Dealership Receives Over 5,000 Calls in First Six Weeks of Using Unforgettable Number

 

 

Background: Car dealership opened in the Dallas market in November 2004. The owner wanted to have an easy-to-remember number to feature in his advertising campaign.

Challenge: Starting a new dealership in a large market is tough. Dealership owner, Tom Georgalis, knew the best way to generate awareness for a lesser known car manufacturer was to advertise aggressively and get calls coming into the dealership.

 

Strategy: Use the unforgettable number in a catchy jingle in radio commercials and television infomercials.

 

Results: In February 2005, the dealership launched their campaign featuring the  jingle.  “I really like the way the number sounds in our jingle. ”And so do the customers - within six weeks the dealership received over 5,500 calls, with an all time high of over 800 calls in a single day.
