Job Description:
Responsibilites:
Provide technical sales support in coordination with Account Managers to provide
efficient technical sales support and delivery for the current products.
In conjunction with Account Managers responsible for overall growth and maintenance of assigned product revenue lines within Northern Region territory.
Work with the Northern Region sales team to identify new revenue opportunities, either from new customers of via the upgrading of services to existing clients and provide feedback to product manager.
Work with the Account Managers and Support staff to expand their product knowledge within the specified products, Including formalized sales training class development and delivery.
-Assist in trade shows as needed.
-Assist Sales Management as needed.
-Assist Product Management as needed.
-Assist Marketing as needed.
-Provide mentoring and coaching with sales staff on areas of expertise up to and
including presentations, demonstration, negotiations and closer of identified
sales opportunities. Work closely with Sales operations group to provide
curriculum on -Data and software usage to help drive consulting and training
days that are included within US based International agreements.
Qualifications:
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Be technically
conversant in English. Able to discuss and explain workflow analysis.
Professional voice and appearance and interpersonal skills for dealing with
customers. Concise and strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, able
to quickly learn new products. Must have knowledge of Windows operating systems,
relational databases, Internet functionality. Must be able to speak in front of
groups, conduct training classes, travel. Must have comprehensive applied
knowledge for domestic data & products.
Requires a minimum 5 years in telecom industry with emphasis on application
software. Five plus years experience in business development,
acquisitions, and/or experience selling information or application needs of
customers performing these functions. Bachelor’s degree in Telecom,
Engineering, IT or Business or Computer Science highly desired but not required
depending upon past work history.
